Start in Salford is launching a master class for anyone who is interested in early photographic print processes. The class will involve working with 19th Century photographic printing techniques: Van Dyke Brown, Cyanotypes and Gum Printing using digital negatives. The course will be delivered by John Brewer one of the few photographers in the UK still producing work using these traditional processes. A basic knowledge of Photoshop is desirable. The cost of the course will be £105 for 6 two and half hour sessions. The classes will be on a Tuesday evening 5.30-8.00pm starting 20 April at Start in Salford.
