The judge was Brian Parkes from York. Because of the high number of clubs entering, only 5 out of 8 images entered by each club were shown. The competition consisted of 9 rounds, with each image achieving a score equivalent to the round reached.

Each club entered 30 images, with restriction that a maximum of two images per photographer could be used. The final score was South Manchester 502 North Cheshire 499. Thanks to everyone who sent me images for consideration for entry.

The return leg will take place on 27th September 2010
