By wild camping at these locations we can spend more time in the hills and have the chance to capture sunsets and sunrises from the comfort of our own tents. If you have members your club who you think might be interested I would be very grateful if you could pass my details on to them.

I will do my utmost to give your members a unique experience whilst on a trek whilst giving them the time to capture unique and stunning images.

The title of the competition is ‘Meet My World’. We are looking for images that reflect your world expressed through the lens of your camera. Maybe a serene English country landscape, an active urban community, an engaging or surreal portrait, travel… Anything that inspires you in your world. It costs £5 per image and anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to enter, both amateur and professional. This is a really great opportunity for anyone interested in photography! We have a range of fantastic prizes including:

± A behind the scenes tour of Tate Photography studios with David Clarke, Head of Photography

± Aspire Photography Training Course

± London Photography Course – ‘Better Travel Photography’

Not to mention the winners will be exhibited in London in 2012. The competition will be judged by a number of important figures of the photography world including

David Clarke – Director of Photography at the Tate
Steve Davey – published BBC books
David Noton – published travel photographer
John Beatty – published travel photographer
